Miss MalaysiaIndian Global rebranding
Tuesday, September 9th, 2008We have been working with the Miss MalaysiaIndian Global Pageant quietly for a few years now but because they were very much an NGO organisation, we could not give them the full support and service as we would normally offer a client.
However this year things took a different turn, because of EzyPzy and because of Hulk’s new look, we agreed to become a sponsor for the pageant, but more importantly because we felt that the pageant needed a fresh new look not just online but offline as well. And also get the pageant to take advantage of the Internet to spread the word or just to document the pageant’s and its participants’ journey.
So for Miss MalaysiaIndian Global, the first thing we did was to shorten the name to MMIG and create a new logo that was fresh and easy to identify.
I cant find a clean version of their old logo, but this is basically what it looked like before:

And we re-branded it into this:

We personally think it looks much more elegant and it takes up much less space.
Next we decided to work on their new website and online marketing strategy. Their new site was designed with the objective of ‘Class & Elegance’ in mind, just like their new logo. Click on image below to check out the new site.
Then we moved on to introduce cheap marketing campaigns such as creating a Facebook Fan page, and harnessing the viral power of social networking. So far quite a few fans have signed up and we also tagged the finalists’ in the photos that we put up in facebook so that their circle of friends would be notified of the new photo posts immediately.
More videos & pictures were also put online this time to give users a richer experience.
Apart from that we are also introducing more games and contests
